Professor Babatunde Salako
Chairman, Medical Board
Professor Babatunde Salako has more than 35 years experience across various industries and roles.
He is the Director-General of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research. Before his current appointment, He worked as a Professor of Nephrology at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan and an Honorary Consultant Physician and Nephrologists at the University College Hospital, Ibadan, Nigeria. He became the Head of Department of Medicine in 2011 and was the Provost of at the College of Medicine, University of Ibadan between 2014 and 2016.
He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and London. Professor Salako was the Chairman of the Nigerian Medical Association in Oyo State between 2002-2004, Editor of the Tropical Journal of Nephrology 2005-2012, Assistant Editor-in-Chief African Journal of Medicine and Medical Sciences.
Professor Rosamund Akuse
Vice Chairman, Medical Board
Prof Rosamund Akuse is a Consultant and Professor of Paediatrics (Nephrology) at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria, Nigeria. Her undergraduate medical education was at the University of Ibadan and her postgraduate education in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She has varied interests in medicine but her focus is in pediatric Nephrology especially in the management and prevention of Acute Kidney Injury.
Dr John O. Okoh

Dr. John Okoh is a seasoned healthcare strategist with over 15 years of global healthcare industry experience both as a clinician and as an administrator. His passion to redefine healthcare delivery in Nigeria prompted him to found Renal Dialysis Center, a leading dialysis network.
He acknowledges that healthcare delivery in Nigeria is going through transformation where quality, affordability and accessibility will be the drivers. He is passionate about access to quality care and sustainability for dialysis programs. He believes that more can be achieved with collaboration of all stakeholders.
Mrs. Olayinka Osuntogun
Member, Medical Board
Mrs Olayinka Osuntogun, a seasoned health professional with over 35 years’ experience as a registered nurse and midwife in Nigeria and the UK, has also worked on several UNICEF projects as a Nursing consultant.
She is passionate about nursing and committed to raising nursing practice standards and professionalism in Nigeria to heights comparable with standards obtainable in developed countries like the UK and USA.
She is a driver of excellence and believes in professional approach to work at all levels.
